wasnt micron/samsung testing 10gbs 512gb dimms way back when this launched though im sure those were prototypes and prob needed LN2 to run but id love to have 4x512gb 8000mhz dimms.

First word latency is something every stick of DDR5 I looked at is still behind on
8000CL40 (Something I can get at a local store) has slower latency than 3600CL16 and 3200CL14

And breaks even with cheaper 3600CL18 & 3200CL16 Memory

well, being RDIMM, it's obviously focused on different operations than something like gaming. but I get ya...timings matter.

I was pulling those DDR5 8000CL40 numbers from desktop/gaming memory as it was the closest match I could find. I couldn't find the timings for the ones you mentioned in the article.

Even for server operations depending on what the server is doing the latency can matter.
