I have just found my memory's SPD and it is reted at DDR-1200 @ 5-7-7-22.

but my bios only goes to 6-6-6-15... Is there a way to get these settings in the bios...?

You can use a program called memset to set them from within windows.

What mem are you running?

I had my balistix 8500 up over 1200 on the DFI, but the voltage required was too much for my blood..... :)

What clockspeed can you get your mem stable @ 5-5-5? Chances are you won't see much of an improvement out of higher clock speeds with 7-7-7 settings.

Bought them as value ram....tekvalue 2 x 1024 DDR2-1066 CL5 Daulchannel set. The sticker on the side of the module says....M-Ram

I can run them at 5-5-5-15 @ 1070, 2.1V

Check that out in cpu-z to see if those #s are actually included in the SPD.

Those numbers sound awfully suspicious to me.... almost like sandra is making them up based on what it thinks the memory might be able to do...... :)

Well.... isn't that interesting...... :)

Let us know how you make out with them. :)

What bios version are you running on the Dark?

I'm running a benchmark test for the next hour on mine, but I'll have a look at the bios settings of it when I'm done.
