MP8 groups are what I aim for as well now or I find groups that are looking for some muscle for mp5 and I just ride their machines.

I have a question. I built a CM mage and I'm wondering, are you really just suppose to mash buttons for it, that seems to be the only thing that works and that's just not for me. I'll probably look at an archon build shortly for my wizard.

And yes, leveling with a hellfire is amazing. That and most of my gear is +xp. For some reason I decided to build a second monk, couldn't sell my old gear so I might make a tempest rush monk and not have to worry about forgetting to swap my passives.

All the CM wiz's I run with use AHK macros to just repeatedly cycle all their spells. It's pretty much that or develop RSI really quickly.

yea.. my CM wizard is built only for MP10 ubers.. and even then, I'd only take part if I know the party can deal out enough DPS so I'm not mashing buttons for more than 30 minutes. Fastest 4 player MP10 uber clear I've been apart of was about 20 mins (includes getting the 5 stack). I really gotta setup a macro, but not sure if its still frowned upon by blizz...

AHK can be used for many other things than macros in games, so highly unlikely that Blizz would ban for it.
20 mins is pretty impressive considering that includes the 5 stack. Assuming you ran that with CDXLIV or whatever his name is from reddit?

I think our best was 15 mins NOT including the 5 stack. That was with two CM wiz's, a barb and my monk. Would probably be better with a 3rd DPS character rather than the extra wiz, but that's what we had so it wasn't too bad overall.

Not sure what the ideal DPS party would be...CMWW for the freeze obviously, then likely a barb and a monk for high DPS. Maybe a WD for buffs/debuffs and some more dps? 2 monks, one with MoC and one with MoR transgression (8% IAS) works pretty well too

actually, its even faster with CDX.. 20 mins was with my regular farming group.

fastest group would definitely need a CMWiz that got 3 attacks per second, a HOTA barb, a Monk with OVERAWE, and a WD w/ Big Bad Voodoo..

I never thought of that... I've been doing MP1, but VoA + key runs would go pretty quick on MP0. Do keys still drop on MP0?

edit... NVM... VoA is act II. Still Act 3 fields are fairly target rich as well.......

edit#2.... Nope... no keys for MP0

Act4 keywarden? what for? Isn't that just the one time plan drop? But nothing dropped on 5 stacks? Yeah that bites big time.

It took me 16 tries on MP3 to get that damn plan. I have enough keys for three machines now but I would really like to be carried through on MP10 so there is a 100% chance of an organ drop.

Yeah, 10% on MP1 all the way up to 100% on MP10.

I was quite disappointed last night after spending almost 40 minutes getting 5 stacks and killing the keywarden in Act 4 on MP8 for no reward at all.

Almost correct.
5% at MP0, 10% at MP1, 20% MP2 and so on.

My worst run was MP5 act 2 keywarden where I went 1/10.

There's a reason I do MP7/8 now
