Looked around and agreed its cheapest high-end GPU at the moment.

Torn...want to upgrade from current GTX480 (which can still play the latest games like BF3/COD:MW3/Batman, etc)....but since I upgraded to a Samsung PLS 27" 2560 x1440 I would prefer running higher frame rates.

Only problem holding me back is the fact its AMD....sigh.

If i am going to spend $500+ in a GPU at least i will spend a bit more and get a brand that has better warranty and more people buy.

Yeah if you buy a Diamond ATI card, I'd likely say the Best Buy warranty might be worthwhile.

Never Getting Warranty with BB again. You just paying them for postage. If RMA takes you 2 week best case, with BB it will take longer.

With Diamond it took me 2 months just to get a hold of somebody when I had to RMA my HD4850.

For a change, You might have a Better chance using BB warranty lol.

Diamond....sometimes somebody is home..sometimes not.

I don't like taking crap shoots with my warranty.

Considering stock of these things is nowhere to be found these days, I am shocked BB has it on sale.

Back in the early to mid-90's Diamond was a decent brand but they started a downhioll slide it seems they haven't recovered from. They are probably on sale because it's an enthusiast card and the the only way an enthusiast will buy a Diamond is if the price is especially good :D
