Dual Channel RAM issue

Hey everyone, as my worklog now states my rig is up and running but I cannot find the camera anywhere...

However I'm having one issue. Right now I'm unable to get my RAM running in dual channel mode. It's only running in single channel no matter which placement I use on the motherboard.

I've tried both of the following and neither worked :angry2:

[0] [1] [2] [3]
[X] [ ] [X] [ ]
[X] [X] [ ] [ ]

Any suggestions?

Right now I'm still on 0302
Didn't even think of that being the issue.
Would the ASUSUpdate utility actually be useful here? Or should I find a USB key and update it that way? I've NEVER done a BIOS update, LOL

I just use the USB key method. EZ flash has always worked wonderfully for my bios updates.

Done, updated to 0903 without any issues using EZ Flash! Just saved to my spare HDD and stuck in in the eSATA port. Issue still not resolved... *opens up his motherboard User Guide for the first time...*

Edit: Well, need to power down and re-locate the memory into the first two slots. ASUS did something right and put the dual-channel slots side-by-side instead of staggered... I was wondering why the color coding for the dual channel wasn't existant... time to move one module and see if the new BIOS makes a difference. Will update when done.

good stuff! I know I'd be irritated if I couldn't get DDR to work. Glad you got it up and running.
