Had two 5.1 systems at one point figured no point in wasting them so set them both up on my desktop with headphone jack splitters worked perfectly fine with just splitters like that.

Honestly never tried to make 2 outputs work at the same time in windows though if your attempting to plug them into different jacks.

if by dual you mean share the signal with two pairs of headphones, yeah, super easy to do, just need a splitter like Izzy mentioned. just make sure you get one that outputs as stereo to both connectors and doesn't split left and right ;)

I was hoping to use two ports on the sound card. My son wants to listen in on a game I've been playing and I don't want to annoy the house with speakers.
