DVD shrink "like" software for Blue-Ray?

For the record, DVDfab will rip the disk to your HD at %100 size or you can select if you want it to fit on a DVD5 or DVD9

Hi, kinda new here so please pardon any ignorance on my part, but I have just recently purchased a blu-ray burner and would like to back up some of my more commonly used blu-rays (and yes, I do own them, I'm not pirating them). I have BD-R disks, but they are only 25GB and I am finding that the movies are typically 27 GB to 32 GB in size. Does anyone know how I can shrink them just enough to fit on a BD-R disk (paid software, freeware, etc.)? I am tired of buying new Blu-Ray disks every time they get scratched!!! I have pasted what I currently have below.

AnyDVD HD
CyberLink PowerDVD 10 (full paid version)
DVD Shrink
ImgBurn (free version)
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit

Wouldn't it cost less to just dump the ISO with AnyDVD or Rip the movie only with DVD Fab to the HDD?
You can get 60 movies on a 2tb Green drive (around 100$). Unless you don't have stream available on you're movie display..

So far, for my BR rips i just use makeMKV. I dont need an ISO since i need all my devices to support and able to stream it. My PO box doesnt support BR ISO's so i just rip it to MKV's. Less hassle for me.

You can try using it MakeMKV.

Hi Ryoohki,

Unfortunately no. I still have an old CRT TV and I don't have any way to stream to it without completely distorting the picture. Eventually, that is what I plan to do, but I have to wait for the economy to pick up first so I can make a little bit more money. So for the time being, I just want to back all of my blu-rays up to bd-r. Once I have updated my home theater I will put together an inexpensive SAN with about 10 to 16 TB of disk space and store everything on there.
