discussion Ergotron MXV idea's?

Ergotron MXV Heya all looking into getting a monitor stand seen this on a Reddit post this would be perfect for my current desk which as many many have seen encompasses 1-3 of the entire room lol but more importantly it does t have a option like other desks that you can mount it from back as it's a solid chonk of Wood.

Ergotron is pretty much the tip top for monitor arms. They are very good quality.

Some of the amazon basic arms are made by ergotron fyi

Ergotron is the gold standard for monitor mounts, but as such, they also generally cost an arm and a leg too. I usually go with something from Amer Mounts myself.

Thank you guys lol I'll see what condition this Goliath desk is in as it kinda broke when I got it into room I'll see if it's stable enough. If not firewood for when we aren't on Forrest Fire alert.

As has been said, Ergotron is the Cadillac, and I suspect you wouldn't be disappointed with it if you have the cash, but I don't think you need to pay the premium for that brand. If you really need all the flexibility that model provides, rotate, tilt, etc. then perhaps it's worth it?

it'll also be versatile and future proof when it comes to upgrading the monitor down the road. plus the way this installs is needed if i keep my current Goliath Desk otherwise the ones that can clamp down from the back would be easier.
