Far Cry 2, one week.

well tues depedning on what your EB is like.... I am not going to expect to see until weds. I don't know how much demand there has been so I don't know whether its going to be a sell out or not. I am thinking any money I can scrape together might better go towards a Fallout 3 preorder...

I'm having more fun with the map editor than I do with most games. This thing is like 3DS max meets sim city meets spore. I'll have my first map 'Badlands' done soon and I'll post screens.
 
I thought this would be out today, but I can't find it.
futureshop says the 25th. ebgames don't even list it on their cdn website, which has always been useless anyways,
and its not in the store. wth
 
Bah! We are totally being shafted. Even Steam says Oct. 22 now. And ya FS has said Oct 25 for a while. I thought it was just their lack of attention to detail. Maybe they are more right than anyone else lol. Anyone see Dead Space PC around? I didn't see it yesterday either.
 
I had the guy at Futureshop convinced they were supposed to be released today even though their website says the 25th, after showing him some google hits and reviews that showed the developers stating a release on the 21st.

But then he went to the back and it turns out they weren't even in yet :doh:
Oh well, Steam it is. At least this way my CD's won't get lost or scratched.

Wonder if they will open it up at midnight?
I have a feeling it is going to be a LLOONNG download.
 
lol, steam is gonna be a hugely long download
i bought mine from Direct2Drive, it will be released at oct 22 @ 10am PDT (gmt -6),
 
downloading for dierct2drive atm, but wow, slow speeds, 150kb/s 8hrs :(, better be done when i get home,
oh and a legit crack was released couple hours ago.
Ubisft must have done something right if it took crackers 3days to crack it
