You don't have the game, you can't say anything then. Forget posting anything other than your own screen caps with resolution and framerate shown. Most screenies on the web are doctored.

Well I could take some screens but they don't transfer well. I'm using a rather meager Radeon 4850 and I also play Crysis the original and Warhead/Wars alot and I have little doubt that FC2 looks better and runs way way smoother at comparable settings in both DX9 and 10. About the only thing Crysis engine does better is water.
Consoles can't touch the visuals of FC2 on a pc with a med range video card and that fact alone has me all giddy and I can finially tell my nephews to STFU cuz my 4850 only cost me $125!

^^ lol this cracks me up. Still don't have the game, but from everything I have seen, no way. Crysis is still the graphics king of the hill. I think this calls for a screenshots comparison! We should post some of each and compare.

What alwaysrun said is right. The actauly visuals look alot better, BUT, im running FC2 Ultra-High 4xaa 1680x1050. I could only run crysis at High 1680x1050 no AA. But the truth is, farcry2 looks even better than the Maxed out screenshots of crysis. Maybe its the environment,

I own both games, crysis is 10x better than farcry, the textures seem blurry compared to crysis, bump mapping seems blurry, hell farcry 2 looks like someone took crysis and blurred everything. FC2 is still really damn good in the graphics dept. If i had to rate in a list all games graphics wise it would be :
1. Crysis
2. Crysis Warhead
3. FarCry 2
this is assuming MAXXED settings on both. If crysis was lowered to settings that are PLAYABLE, then yes, FC2 looks better when comparing Playable settings on MOST rigs.
the weather changes in this game are the best i have seen in any to date. anyone played sandblast map online when it rains being a sniper thats bad:biggrin:
I just picked this up tonight, Gamestop Pre-Order Edition with bonus missions and map, used, for a ridiculous price. I mean bargain bin ridiculous! I only installed it to test and make sure it's working. I am maybe 45 mins into it. Need to finish Dead Space still lol. So far I am liking it. The game plays very well on a mix of Very High/Ultra on my 8800GT @ 1680x1050. It does look very good but Crysis still looks better imho. The monocule sucks how it works, but otherwise I'm having fun so far for a whopping 1% complete! -woot 
Totally disagree with this post.....compared to Crysis or Warhead...well..no comparison...looks like a good version of Half life 2...graphics seem "washed out" and water effects suck! Crysis or Warhead (Enthusiast ) is totally amazing...I'm playing FC2 at 1920 x 1200 all Ultra x2 AA and their really is no comparison...imho...FPS are a lot better in FC2, but thats with a price. Don't get me wrong...looks good, just not as awe inspiring as Crysis or Warhead!
AGREED, thats what I said, but no one seems to believe me, they just keep calling me crazy. Crysis > FarCry2 Graphics wise
Yeah who knows thier "Chilly"..maybe thier playing Crysis at very low Res and details.....I have been playing Warhead for the 2nd time around and still am amazed at the detail of the graphics!!!
When I play FC2...looks cheezy!!! Oh well....COD 5 is out, went to purchase it at London Drugs BUT whoooaaa...$60!!..I cannot bring myself to spend that $$$ on a PC Video Game...$49.99 tops! Anyhow...maybe I'll have a melt down tomorrow..hahahaha...and get it..I loved COD 1, 2 , 3 & 4!
crysis easily beats FC2, no question. And dont compare screenshots compare actual in game footage
