Looking for some people 21+ to play some FC4 open world coop with! I have uplay, and am not sure if coop is compatible between platforms (uplay/steam/origin) but post your age and platform and we can give it a swirl. My uplay user name is: E0DB0T

Single player so far is very good. I was skeptical after all the ubisoft flak from AC:U, and had my doubts. This is very good so far though. The graphic options are nice, and the new drivers today,(Nvidia 344.75) made it even better. Here is a nice settings guide for the game, and impacts and comparisons between the settings. I got Far Cry 4 for free with my 970 purchase thru newegg, even though I purchased it before the promotion, so if anyone else picked up a 970 or 980 from newegg and did not receive a free copy of a game, you should contact live support and try and get a copy as well!

I've been trying a 'demo' to see if it was worth it or not, and after an evening of play I'm very happy with it. I too bought from newegg shortly before the deal. I'll contact them to see if they'll give me a coupon. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll get back to you once I finalize a sale :)

Thats only for the prologue. They're just setting the story line.

Game is great. Really enjoying it, and the story line is fantastic.
 
I don't post often here but i gotta warn you , this game stutters like hell, even with 980's and 780ti's(not even TotalBiscuit's rig), it's very annoying, it's a mipmap issue, basically you have to put this game on low textures if you want a playable experience.

Not fixed yet in the 1.4 update.


Also, this game's AF options are bundled with the texture quality settings, so for the best experience right now, disable the mipmaps (see on google) which will force you to use medium/low quality textures and force AF x16 through your GPU control panel.

I have none of these problems. I'm playing on 1440p with my 970 at a mix of high/ultra settings, and it is silky smooth.
