but for the Mac Pro's...there it's still a no go. further, there are a ton of caveats to deal with too...
- Thunderbolt / USB4 are borked
- Touch ID is borked
- built-in mics are borked
- speakers don't work on the iMac
- USB-C alt DP doesn't work either...not a surprise if Tb and USB4 are borked though)

Semi-good sign that people are working on this. Hoping that once the other ARM laptop comes out we can put OSX on it.
that would be more curious. I'm happy there has been some success on this front because unlike the Intel based Mac's, these couldn't be repurposed for more use after support is dropped by Apple on the older models. it means that there's almost good reason to buy one now...

I'm still skittish about Windows on ARM because of Microsoft's record on anything outside of X86 Windows. The other issue here is Apple is using other chips inside their laptop which may lock out other stuff.

Window's on ARM will proof or destroy itself this year with everything hanging on the Snapdragon X processor. whether that version of Windows can be adapted for Apple Silicon is unknown...but I bet they will hate the pressure they'll get for a Parallel's refresh if Microsoft / Qualcomm are successful.
