First Watercooling Build

the point I was trying to make was that it would not make sense to dump warm air from the rads into the areas that you are trying to cool .

Normally I'd agree, but if every major heat-producing component (CPU and all videocards, chipset is a maybe) is water-cooled, the temperature of the air inside the case is less of an issue than that of the air coming through the rads.

I will definitely be changing out the origional case fans. Well, probably not the hard drive one.... But yeah, I will take your advice and push/pull from the interior to the exterior. I think I will probably do 1 loop with the triple rad like that first with the 2 GT480s and then see how it is. If its too hot then I will be adding a second rad.

Thanks so much guys for all your help, now just 1 more question:

What did you guys think about that reservoir though?

I will fix the question. my fan blow the hot air from inside of the case true the rad at top.. and look at the temps with my CPU OC at 4,2 ghz, the 5870 is blowing the air poutside at 50% fan level

Verry true , But I am a Geothermal, Hydronic HVAC tech. for almost 38 years and it's hard to ignore what you know . With the water and air temps that we will be dealing with I do agree with you mostly but this is a tinker project for me and i am sure that I will be playing with different configs. to see what works the best and how mutch difference different air and water flows affect the system .

Very nice indeed . I have had 2 major brain sugery's in the last 6 months so my communication skills are somewhat lacking still but I thenk we are saying basically the same thing .I have been visiting this site for several years and just recently joined , I really enjoy the patience and knowledge of the people here.

I have spent a ton of money with daz already , I figure this water system will cost me 2 grand by the time the dust settles , we have also been sending emails back and forth to each other for a few months now. Very very good guy to deal and talk with. (Fesser 360 w? Treibwerk fans and a Black Ice GTX 140mm for the vid cards to start
