Floppy Drive cannot format Disks

when I put in some old floppys it asks to format.
When I click format, windows comes unresponding and it restarts the explorer.

im running on windows 7 64 bit

and dont ask why im still using floppys lol

Try running/formatting floppy in virtual xp mode if you have pro or ultimate. Virtual xp mode is the only way I could get my old scanner working...it works great this way:thumb:
