Seems the demand is so high, there is currently a 50 minute wait to even access Framework's website.

Edit: dropped to 30 minutes pretty quickly. And hasn't moved from 30 minutes for 15 minutes now.

Just going thru the press stream, they poke fun at Nvidia and Apple pricing. The more you buy, the shinier the jacket gets. Good to know that the motherboard has all ATX standard so you can put it in another case. The PSU is semi-custom Flex but not a problem if you use something else.

$2k-3K for a mini PC... Unless this is unified memory like Macs have for AI/ML, even then - I'd rather get a Mac at that price.

Apparently they worked with AMD to try and get upgradable memory on it, but technically not possible. Very neat…sad that it’s expensive, but it is very cool for someone wanting extremely compact with this performance. $2k USD is with 128gb ram.
