Anyone looking to pick up a GTX 570 at an awesome price?

Galaxy's is $249.99 at NCIX right now. This card features the Galaxy-exclusive detachable flip fan that makes cleaning and maintenance so much easier.

$300.95 CAD - $20.96 IR - $30 MIR = $249.99 CAD

Use Savings Code 67660-1361.

always chunky rebates with the galaxy cards.

problem is GTX 480 is at the same price and still the better card since it has more vram and similar performance. not to mention there's no rebate.

would go with 480 if I have water cooling setup installed already otherwise this 570 is not bad except for the MIR

Rebates are VERY annoying. Why not make the retailer responsible for the MIR and THEY can way 4-6 months for a pre-paid credit card that most stores will not take.

Nice price. I've never had a problem with a rebate so I won't complain about that, but how do you use a savings code at NCIX? Is there a field to enter it into somewhere in the checkout process like a gift card?

I suspect MIR has 2 advantages for manufacturers. One is boost sales. 2nd is book the total revenue in the same financial quarter to impress wall street analysts with high sales and high revenue, and pay out the rebate slowly over a period of 3-4 months. Another explanation would be that manufacturers can hold on to your money interest free.

+1 and on top of that, lots of people are too lazy to actually send in the mail in rebates, so it's a win win situation for the manufacturer!

However, nothing wrong with Galaxy doing it, they make really good cards and run pretty damn cool!
