Hi, I am wanting to upgrade my current PC to be able to play games (BF4).

Asus P8Z68-V PRO (non Gen3) Bios ver 3603
Intel Core i3-2100 (stock)
G-Skill 4GB F3-12800CL-9D 4GBRL
Corsair VX550W
Hard Drives (KINGSTON SV300S37A120G SSD, WDC WD20EARS, WDC WD15EADS, Hitachi HDS723020BLA642, TOSHIBA DT01ACA300, WDC WD1002FAEX x 2)
Fractal Design Define R4 case

I plan to O/C fairly high, and will get a good cooler for the CPU.
If I have to upgrade the P/S I will too.
I was thinking of getting an ASUS GTX770, and I am getting
[FONT=&quot]G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
I was thinking of getting a core i5 3570K and a Swiftech H220 cooler.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

The i5 will be a good upgrade, but try to find one used to save some $. Get a good budget air cooler ($30+tax tops...hyper 212 plus or evo, or something similar), or if you want to go water with an AIO then that works as well, but does cost more. If you want to run a gtx 770, then I would go to at least a 650w powersupply (for long term use). If you would like to keep the current PSU, I would say you are good for a gtx 660/660Ti/670/760 as long as you don't push overclocking.

Like Bond said the I5 is a good upgrade. I use an I5 4670k on my PC alongside a GTX 660 OC and it runs near perfectly. Except for a few minor frame drops. Depending on how much you are willing to spend, you could probably get a Corsair H80i Liquid cooling unit and overclock that processor to 4.5Ghz.

That PSU will power a 770 no problem at all. Good choice for the CPU and GPU, just try getting a 4GB model as current games already push 2 gig cards to their mem limit @1080p. As said above get a decent air cooler (NH-U12S, that same hyper 212+) unless you're into extreme overclocking.
