does anyone know how to optimize these POS cameras? settings for a $1000+ router to make these useable or know an alternative that doesnt :poop: all over itself daily?

1. Google Nest Cameras indoor/doorbell
2. Google Home dock.
3. Asus RT-BE96U

i dont see how these pass QC or continue to be sold on consumer market they keep disconnecting randomly very poor performance iv done what i can with getting fastest internet available ($285/m) fastest router available. short of getting a agreement drawn up to drill holes and replacing the router for lower speced unifi with poe.

Some of those crappy IoT cameras and such only actually support 2.4ghz with any reliability. Often best to setup a dedicate 2.4ghz SSID just for IoT devices like that instead of the combo SSIDs. (PoE cameras FTW ;) )

Functionally it was the only way I could get a Wii to even connect via wifi.

What's silly is as a landlord I do let renters do some of that stuff (within reason) I just ask that they talk to me first. Usually I'll do it for them and not charge them for it since it is permanently attached to the building.

If one renter wants it often another would as well.

Was getting hot, AC isn't in the budget but got all the windows with major sun exposure tinted for them etc.
