So can China make GDDR6? From 5 minutes of research online, it seems like CXMT, YMTC, and SMIC can't even make DDR5 yet. KingSpec and other cheap SSD are using YMTC stuff if I recall and they aren't that good. If they can catch up by mid-2026 for DDR5, we may get some relief, assuming the performance can match the existing big 3.
