I have a friend who asked me to make an offer on it, looks like it sits just below a 2060 (which is odd because when the 2060 came out the 1080 was better, I guess good job to nvidia's driver team) which can be had for $440 new. I'm seeing used 1070's for like $350 though which is where I would have guessed a used 1080 would fall considering the current GPU landscape.

What would you guys offer?

Hmm I wouldn't pay more than $350 for a 1080 and $300 for a 1070. While the RX 5700 is showing up at $460+tax, it doesn't have ray tracing but cost the same as a 2060. Granted, who the hell use ray tracing anyway since no one supports it and it's so bad on the lower end card. I really don't understand why people would pay new 2060 MSRP for a used 1080 on eBay, that's silly. At the end of the day, the 1080 is 1 generation older and it's used.
