Nope. But we have committed to have a full review of the updated AMD card once we can properly evaluate its position within the market (IE: price, availability, etc.)SKY, Quick question (I may have missed it in your review) Did you manage to do the benchmarks with AMD's controversial bios update for the HD7950?
Bingo. The picture is clear me thinks - 660Ti for 1080p/1200p, 7950 for anything higher.
Ours was a reference version. Actually, Superclocked but with a reference BIOS installed. The only problem i see with ALOT of the reviews today is alot are with modded/tweaked cards. I honestly miss the days when a reviewer could have generic/oem card a vs card b in baseline comparision reviews ... overclocking has screwed with getting true preformance numbers in both the cpu & gpu market nowadays .. :shok::blarg:
However you want to spin it, once again this website out of all the tech press found results in favour of Nvidia.
Even anandtech had the Ti behind (slightly). Some places like Toms and HT4U found the 660 Ti was slower than the 7870 -
ASUS GTX 660 Ti DC2 Top - NVIDIAs GeForce GTX 660 Ti ist da - 3D-Performance 1920 x 1080 mit Antialiasing (Seite 40) - HT4U.net
When a tech site is constantly going against the grain with these, it is bound to open it up to accusations of bias. Did any other site find the 660 Ti faster at 1080p? See, this is where the problem lies.
