Hello everyone! I currently have an i7-8700K on an Asus Prime z370-A (ATX CASE), and I'm basically waiting for Ryzen 7000 at this point before changing the entire PC build, as I'm also planning on doing a custom EKWB Watercooled System.



Meanwhile, however, i want to know what is the best Cooling Option for my current rig in terms of Noise Reduction and Overall Silence, basically i don't care about having the best temperatures in the world (I'm fine with normal temps and i don't overclock the CPU) but i do care about silence since that's basically the main reason of this post. So to deliver normal or somewhat acceptable temps while keeping the noise as low as possible, what would the best option be in this case? I don't care about the type of cooling solution itself (be it AIO, air,etc) as long as it's the best choice for my primary aim.

I would probably recommend getting a noctua d15 or d15 chromax.

No problem. You have to make sure it can fit in your case though. If you are willing to run a touch warmer, but still just as quiet, the fuma 2 is another option that will offer better case compatibility and a lower cost.

What about the be quiet! pure rock 2 or dark rock 4?
