if we use the Radeon 780M as AMD's iGPU baseline, its Passmark score is 7,000 points.
Radeon 890M scores 8,500 points.
Radeon 880M scores 7,800 points
Radeon 860M scores 4,900* points
Radeon 840M has no results at this time

*scores for the 840M, 8060S and 8050S have very few samples to create an accurate report. that said, both the 8060S and 8050S scored over 15,000 with what they did have.

That 395 is looking really attractive as a little homelab/transcoding machine. Especially with the low TDP. Not just AI workloads.

indeed! it's going to be a wait though because if lead times are anything like what Framework shared, products won't be shipping out until late Q2, early Q3. I also have to admit, if they offer their mITX board with the 395 as a standalone product, it will probably be almost as much as the dang box itself. :P

I am tentatively excited to see how the 8050S actually performs on the 385...its Passmark score was about 1000 higher than the 8060S, which I'm pretty sure is an error. BUT, most of the benchmarks out there are from ES or in systems where the TDP is heavily throttled, so nothing for any of the AI MAX+ will be anywhere accurate. the scores for the 890M / 880M / 860M all over more than 100 samples, so respective of what they're really like.

exiting times, exiting times!
