If you've got the time please visit the Veterans Emergency Transition Services website and make a donation or buy one of their patches or t-shirts to support their worthy cause.
They accept Canadian Tire money by mail so if you've got some of that lying around that would be great.

V.E.T.S is a non-profit charity and they are properly registered and are headquartered out of Halifax I won't bore you with all the details as they are readily availible on the website.

If you want to make a cash donation follow the links on the site and you will recieve a charitable reciept.

We don't leave our fallen on the battlefield but once they come home we quickly forget about their sacrificies and allow them to fall through the cracks of a very poor veteran care system. We all think that our injured vets get all kinds of Government help when they are injured in combat or otherwise but you'd be wrong. There have been some attempts to shore up the system but many have already been lost to the streets or suicide. Please Please if you can't afford to donate atleast visit their facebook page and "like" them, help get the word out.
