Hot Deals!!!!!

a bunch of deals have popped up on RFD this morning.

Broil King (which is a CDN grill company like Napoleon) 420 NG (Natural Gas?) is $499; down from regular $799, at Home Despot:

MasterBuilt Electric Smoker 710 is $261.00 at Mal Wart:

Asus RTX 5060 Ti 16GB on sale at Lenovo Canada for $525.00. Read the notes here, there are a few hoops to jump to get that price in your cart:

Sapphire Pulse RX 9060 XT 16GB at Amazon.ca for $490.00:

yeh...but 27" and FHD...eww! FHD is pixelated enough on a 24"!

It's still the most common resolution by a mile, and still a great price. For office users, this is often all that's necessary.

Costco Also has an MSI, 27", 1440p, 180Hz, VA monitor that's essentially perpetually on 'sale' for $189. I think it's also always on sale at Staples and Best Buy for the same price.

hey guys, I came across this website that sells refurb hardware and they've got a treasure trove of older GPU that some of you might be interested in, so I thought I'd share:
They ship from Calgary sometimes their shipping prices are ridiculous sometimes they are ok. They also multi-list between ebay, facebook, kijiji etc so sometimes things disapear pretty quickly.

I have a vehement hatred of ERA. They market themselves as a 'charity' style organization that takes in old hardware and then donates a lot of it. But the truth is that they are 100% profit oriented. Which is fine... but don't go around dropping off flyers at business asking for old hardware donations in the guise of charity when that's a complete sham.

The other thing that pisses me off is that they 'guarantee' that they go through stringent data wipe procedures with any data on drives, etc.. But I know that process is loose at best. I have an employee that's currently holding 2 'refurbished' servers that we KNOW are from the Calgary School District, since they were fired up and it's clear there is ZERO attempt to remove data. They booted straight in to the domain environment.

here's another decent deal for an entry level laptop or one for your kid and school. For $650, you get a:
