Hot Deals!!!!!

Jonsbo D32 Pro M-Atx case - $95 w/ free shipping

Relatively small m-atx case.

That's a solid deal.

I don't know if this is a good option for @rick5773 regarding a smaller airflow case, but worth looking at.

IMO Acer generally still makes an inferior product across most of its range. It's roots were in bottom budget laptops sold at general retailers like Walmart for years and it shows.

I'm less up to date on the gaming laptops, but had good results with Asus back in the day (though their customer service has seemingly vastly changed for the worse since then). For general/business laptops, Lenovo is probably the brand I'd trust the most, with Surface combos or laptops being my choice for personal use with the caveat that you do pay a price premium. After switching to Surface Pro laptops I'm not sure I'll go back, the light portability and build quality make it so handy for travel, and the build quality has (for me) been very good.

At work, especially when contracting, I seem to get Dells and HPs the most for company access and they're just awful these days.

That's interesting, Dell and HP are all I order now for work computers. I shifted away from Lenovo as their support the last 2 or 3 times was absolute garbage, and I vowed to never give them our money again.

This is the exact opposite from my experience. Dell has some OK laptops, but with horrendous support in my experience, and HP is just a terrible product altogether. I'm not sure I've deployed a single HP without issue.

Not only has Lenovo been the better product by a mile in our experience AND had better support for any issues; but their Vantage software is absolutely amazing for quick deployments.

*shrug*

I don't know if it's a "hot deal", so much as a drop in price over time. But the 9070XT's are coming down in price. There are a couple that are essentially the same price as a 9070.

ASUS Prime 9070XT OC - $865
Another drop. 9070XT at that price is definetly the best bang for buck in that performance class in Canada. I have no idea why the vanilla 9070 price is so terrible in Canada.

consider getting a Premier Support upgrade. that upgrades you to a tier 2 technician immediately and that tech sticks with you for the entire support ticket. they can even provide support for the most popular software packages used, if you experience any trouble with one. and if they can't figure out what's wrong, they contact the ISV's support and will help mediate the solution.

Good to know. If I ever decide to give them a chance again I'll give that a go.
