Nothing fancy, just a couple of pictures of the build.

Nice setup, I hope to do something similar this year...if you feel like letting the 7600X go after upgrading, let me know.

My only comment is that you have all fans setup as exhaust, which will create quite a negative pressure case (dust around seams, etc). I think you will end up with better temps and less dust if you go to intake on the rads (or at least on one of them). Personal call though.

Agreed, intake on both rads would likely keep temps lower and act as partial dust filters since the case doesn't seem to have any?

Yeah that's an interesting one. In my liquid cooled setup iirc I had all intake on the rads, front and top, and that gave me the best temps. One exhaust at the back.

Now that I switched back to air, I have intake on the front and exhaust on the top and back and that dropped my air temps a couple of degrees. Original I just had the case fans the same, just the with rads removed thinking cool air in would be better. But I guess it makes sense because in air it is important to get that hot air out of the case so the cooling blocks can do their thing. Worked better for me anyway with more exhaust on air, and as you said @Bond007 more intakes when I had rads.

I will keep you in the front of the queue when I get the 7800X3D, if you like.

I plan to go back to an air cooled card replace the 3080 when NVidia and AMD smarten up and lower the prices a bit! When that happens then I will use 3 120s at the top as intake and flood the case with fresh air.

I am hoping for a 4080 Ti release though with a price somewhere near the current 4080 price, or a Super maybe? NVidia love to do those refreshes. And AMD, well, I can't find a 7900 XTX for anything near MSRP here in Canada. When I use PC Partpicker I see the delta between the 7900XTX and 4080 to be around $100, and in some cases there are more expensive 7900XTX cards out there.

Thanks, I did want something a little more compact than the Lian Li O11 Dynamic the case replaces. The thing is that I really loved the esthetic of the glass front and side. The Y40 fits the gear, and the thermals should be adequate, though not spectacular.

Forgot to mention, there is a 140 in the basement set to intake, you can kind of make it out in the first picture. There are dust filters on both the side and top, so I could flip the fans to intake on the rads. I might do that with the 280 and see how it works. As I said above, the plan is to go air cooled on the GPU eventually and bring in air from the top and exhaust it at the back and the side. I don't mind experimenting though, that is part of the fun of building your own computer.

I definitely recommend trying a couple options with the rad fan directions if you don't mind the fiddling. Let us know the results if you do (I am curious).
