It's just for the CPU. Way too much work for me to WC a vid card and it makes access to hardware fairly difficult.

Fans installed, and pump mount roughed in. My intention is to print off some spacers to cover those machine screws once I get all of my fittings in and can confirm the required height.
If you make the plates a little thicker you can also countersink the screw heads for a slightly cleaner look. I'm hoping to rebuild my radiator enclosure this winter (wood filled, aluminum filled filaments and more on hand now) so keep going I need the extra inspiration :)

Hrmmmm..... should have been paying more attention when I ordered these.... not really sure what use there is for non-swivelling 90 deg barbs.

So far I've got one stack of extensions so maybe those can be tightened to appropriate weights to line up the barb?

I've got another two (these are swivelling) coming in tomorrow so if they look decent I'll order another pair.

Do you think 60cfm will be enough to scrub the rad?

She's lookin thicc..

I think it'll be fine. The rad is supposedly optimized for "low RPM" fans so it's not very restrictive. If it needs a bit of a boost I can always grab another set of fans to run it in push/pull. There's supposedly a ton of depth for the rad.

Side run roughed in.jpg

Looks like the case is going to take a while to get to me, and I'm waiting on a few more fittings to come in so this first roughed-in run may be the only one for a while.

My plan (once I get all of the new barbs in for correct measurements) is to print off some spacers which will slip over the open machine screws supporting the pump mount to the rad. That will add a bit more colour, but more importantly will provide more surface area for the "posts" holding the mount up thus (in theory) spreading the weight of the pump out a bit more.

I have seen some chatter that Corsair is making some good water stuff these days.

It pains me to say that.

The reviews I've been reading have almost all been highlighting the fact that Corsair isn't trying to manufacture their own kit, but is instead rebranding established products with slight changes.

I know that. To me they are just a mildly fancier ThermalTake.

I know they have EK guys there.

My first loop was one of the TT kits with the rad mounted externally to the top.

Pretty sure it was the bigwater 745 kit and I had it mounted to the top of one of the early Lian-li aluminum cases w/ dual 80mm in the front. (Pity I don't have a pic any more... there was one on here somewhere but it was early days and is probably a dead link by now.

edit: Nope.... not gone, found it. :)
