I think the Elgato Stream Deck would make for a great spacecraft / aircraft control panel, do you?

Yeah I was going to recommend that too, but I really feel that 8-15 is the sweet spot for most people once they start using a macropad...six just doesnt cut it imo.
Funnily you say the as the 6 has been a good amount for myself as well as the wife as an introduction item with low cost risk.

I'll probably next month get the bigger version for myself as i want more buttons now that I use it alot.

I suspect someone would have to check the game they want to play and see how many hot key functions they need to program to operate their space / air craft and purchase accordingly.

I would first spend more money on my joystick / flight yoke and make sure I had the pedals and paddles to ensure I had the best flight control. :)

Not sure if this is the same model @Sagath mentioned earlier (looks like it's gen 1?), but it's on sale for $116.

Just a note about that one, or the seller at least. I attempted to buy that originally and never received it. Ended up getting a refund. People do successfully buy from them, but I'm not the only person to have my experience. Good deal if you get one, but seems a bit of a roll of the dice.

So the official Elgato Store is a bit shady? That's messed up. :)

No no :) If you look at your Amazon link it is sold by a company called Hanyafre. Not from the official store.

Ah... that's a bit shady in itself.... I saw the "visit the elgato store" link in the header of the ad and assumed it was being sold by the store. It never occurred to me that it might be a third party seller with a link back to the official store.

Well my experience certainly ended up being shady feeling with the item shipped, almost out for delivery, then the cryptic "unable to deliver" message and poof nothing. The refund was handled fine but the delay and lack of item was annoying.
