Im geting the amd 9800x3d and want some better lower CL 30 stuff. Whats your thoughts on ram,brands..links posted please.

Waiting to see once 9800X3D reviews come out though to see what people claim is "best" as far as frequency and timings go.

I agree on the wait and see idea. Some of the reviews that pop up are going to cover ram speed optimizations.

There is a GN video that came out yesterday that talks about how the 9000x3d is a design flip (litterally) and it is likely going to have its own sweet spot

I like the trident stuff combined with the AMD personally. It's been really solid.

I had a negative experience with GSkill Trident, they died on me and I had to RMA it. The two brands that let me down in the past 3 years were GSkill and Mushkin.

My go to brands these days are Crucial (and Micron), Kingston and Corsair.

So the cl30 is the good stuff what about the other numbers i see i dont understand this ram stuff for example, Timing 30-36-36-76, the last number ive seen it higher like 96 and up or dont worry about that? gotta be 1.35 though
