Just a quick question. I have my cpu i7-920 running on stock clocks (2653.32 MHz) and stock fan that came with it.
Room Temp : 15 Deg C
Cpu Core temps: 50 Deg C with a Low reading of 45 deg C

Is this normal for my configuration?

It's a 130Watt Processor, that is sadly about the norm for the stock cooler (45-50C) if your looking for a cheap cooler to replace the stock, corsair H40 core liquid cooler. It is pretty much an H50 with a low profile pump, and I ran an H50 for a year and it was about as good of a cooler as you could get, short of a $80-$100 HUGE top end air cooler or custom liquid cooling loop.

sounds a little high for a 15 degree room, but the stock cooler sucks, and if your case doesn't cool well then it sounds about right.

My i7 920 idles low 40's, with TRUE push/pull and a very high air flow case.

So 50c for stock fan, makes sense to me.

It's fine until I'd say 85c, what is your load temp? idle temp doesn't really matter.
