Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of selecting some parts to upgrade my aging computer and have already selected (bought) some of the parts:
Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4
2x2GB G. Skill DDR2-1066 RAM
Intel C2Q Q6600
and I use a Samsung 206BW screen (1600x1050)
The only thing left to pick is the video card. I'm looking at cards between 200 and 300$. So basically, I have the choice between 8800GT, 8800GTS (stretching budget but OK), HD 3870 and 9600GT.
I've read reviews from various sites on video card performance, features, etc.. But now, I face some questions:
I may be interested in CrossFire in the future but is it worth it? Meaning do I get more trouble than what it's worth?
How is the performance of 8800GTS Vs 8800GT Vs HD3870?
Thanks all
