So wondering, there are several iPhone 12 and 13 models for sale locally. What would you guys consider a good battery max capacity on a used one? There's a couple with 86-89% on version 13 ones. That still should have several years of life in it wouldn't it? I don't what my daughter fighting to get the day out of it with normal use. That's too frustrating. Not very many of those have 90% or higher it seems.
For what it’s worth, my 2 year old 12 is showing 89% (99% of use time is web and YouTube).

Take those numbers with a grain of salt, I've been through some reddit posts about battery capacity, and talked to some friends who charge via cord vs those who charge wirelessly, these habits can apparently sway the life of a battery that the numbers don't show. I was never a fan of leaving a phone on a charger overnight and I suspect most people don't care. My mom's old 6s plus battery had well over 90% iirc but would die the minute it was used in 3 degree weather. (it probably wasn't the original battery when we got it now that I think of it).

I think we're always gambling going used and I'd just check that where you're buying it from will stand by the battery life for some period after the sale.

you got me curious now...
joine the 6s club :)

92% on my iPhone 11 here, I charge it every couple days... cause well... it's used as a phone (Teams). I've also had that slow charge after 80% option enabled. I think I've had it about 3 years now.
