I wonder if AMD will do an add campaign pointing out how old / stagnant Intel's CPU lines are and have gotten. get AMD into the social mind as the solution to everyone's computing needs.
That's why I don't think intel's in as bad shape as the enthusiasts like to say. Intel is the brand most people think of when it comes to chips, and while they're not doing hot right now, the enthusiast market is a fraction of a fraction. Obviously if they don't get their act together in 2-3 years we could be having a very different discussion but for now they're still an elephant facing off against a dog.
no...I suspect it's more along the lines of figuring out how to blame Intel for the investors that suffered losses when Intel's market cap dropped by almost $50 billion. that's a lot of coin and hurt many of the rich and well to do. makes you wonder how many profited from Intel's loss...Maybe all the burning Bridges to keep AMD out if OEMs and security for sale of speed is finally coming back to bite them in @$$
well...if AMD did that, they could become the focus for an insider trading suit...but yeh, the irony would be delicious!Hahah imagine if AMD bet against Intel and got $$$$$$$$$ and uses that to bury them
