Yeah, that was my line of thinking too. I mean it's still early days, but China's chip development has ramped up tremendously in the recent years, I feel like they are accelerating it even more so since Trump took office. China recently banned NVIDIA chips too, my gut feeling says they will ban all "foreign" chips eventually. And well since China is part of BRICS, I suspect the other partner countries would follow.
