Intel small upgrade?

@neojjjk: my budget is not set at all i am basically seeing where i can upgrade quickly but i see i have to do a major upgrade i should have a 250$ budget around march, will see what i can put together then( P.S i am in south africa... sooo i can not buy from new egg but wil source those parts here)

@dpk33: haha if you were in south africa i would have baught it today already :)

OMG i feel like such a tit, its a intel celeron E1500 not a e2200 wow :O sorry
My advice hasn't changed - still no reason to invest in an upgrade for an outdated platform. In modern games that will mean the difference between slideshow level frames-per-second and still quite unplayable frames-per-second (in either case you can't enjoy the game :blarg:)

thankx jeah if i dont run into more finances before march i will consider looking around for a intel core 2 quad 8000 series or possibly a core 2 duo 8000 series or 7000 series.
If i can get the money i want (+- 250$) sandy bridge or llano here i come:clap:.

i just hoped i could get a quick cheap upgrade that will enable me to run games like shift 2, blur, home front, assassins creed 1 and 3 more better.

just sell you cpu and get a used E8400 or above .that will fix your issue .
