I've been watching a few more of his videos since his coverage of the CrowdStrike related outage. This video was very good coverage I think.

disabling IPV6 wont stop this? its one of the first tweaks i do with the debloat tool upon new installation of windows.

Did you watch the video? ;)

Yes it will, but patching and disabling ipv6 is the most secure option. As he says, if you aren't actually using ipv6, turn it off to remove that vulnerability vector. I'd guess very few home users are using ipv6, but it is on by default.
