Yes it will, but patching and disabling ipv6 is the most secure option. As he says, if you aren't actually using ipv6, turn it off to remove that vulnerability vector. I'd guess very few home users are using ipv6, but it is on by default.

IPV6 setting is in BIOS . I just turned mine off on my mane rig .

You can also turn it off from inside Windows in the network adaptor properties.

Thanks fore the link . I used it on my fathers old HP laptop it didn't have a setting in BIOS . Thanks
