Is this Rig good enough for gaming?Or do I need to add or upgrade any components?My component are as follows:

Ram:4x16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz
Motherboard:Aorus Z390 Master
GPU:Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme
PSU:Corsair AX1200
Case:Tecware VXR
Fans:8x Armageddon Infineon Loop 120mm RGB addressable fan
SSD:2x 1TB Samsung 970 Pro NVME,4x Lexar NS100 512 GB
CPU Cooler:ID Cooling aurora 360 AIO

Surely you know that it's good enough for gaming or are showing off.... You're literally buying the highest end CPU and GPU on the market right now.

In fact you're probably seriously overspending unless you're gaming at 4K with high settings. If your monitor is 1080p or you're not playing the newest AAA, you've actually gone into overkill territory.

If you want a genuine critique of whether you should go higher or lower on some components, let us know what you're playing, the resolution and refresh rate you're aiming for.

I game at 2k 144hz mainly,BF 5,Monster hunter world,Control,Project cars & GTA V.I always max out graphics settings & expect 100+ fps.Was considering if Ryzen 3900X would be better

Go with whatever you get the better deal on for a CPU and MB right now. The gaming difference isn't huge. Intel might come out ahead a little more often, but you're so GPU dependent for most games it's not going to be a night vs day difference.

If you use the computer for productivity as well it might be worth checking benchmarks for the specific programs you use. Some intel fares better, some AMD. Either chip is a powerhouse and will be overkill for gaming. For gaming you're arguably gettting a much better fps/$ from a 9700K or 3700x anyway

Hyper threading is a must for me due to the work I sometimes do with my pc, I I have tried & sold Ryzen 3700X with Aorus X570 Pro & don't like the temperatures(50-60c idle is rubbish) which is also why I changed to 9900K

I returned the Aorus RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme & bought 2 Aorus RTX 2080 8G for SLI which actually costs less than the RTX 2080 Ti which is better value

True, but the number of games supporting sli is dropping fast. I always recommend single gpu now.

I opted out of Aorus RTX 2080 8G & went with 2 Palit RTX 2080 Gaming pro OC which were CAD$1660 which I think is very reasonable.Agreed that less & less games are supporting sli,but I can use the 2nd RTX 2080 for another build

I'm agreeing with Bond007. Unless you're in a situation where your work requires multi gpu, ditch the SLI and grab a single 2080Ti. Scaling is crap on most games (if at all) and a single 2080 Ti is more than enough at 1080p for well over 100Hz

Then sell it used when it's upgrade time and go for the next best single gpu until they stop killing sli/nvlin/xfire
