When Apple talks about sustainability, it's hard not to think that Apple is talking about the sustainability of its profits rather than the environment.

I've seen article after article about Apple fighting 'the right to repair' and getting blocked by California (usually), but now they've made it so that you cannot put any non-Apple components into an iPhone 13 without consequences. the article didn't mention what features would be disabled, but said that is what will happen if you do.
I'm disappointed they didn't face the music for their closed garden App Store, because when it came down to it the entire lawsuit hinged on the one detail that Epic violated the terms and conditions they agreed to when they put up their games. that derailed the chance for anything to get measurably better for everyone else trapped in the terms and conditions Apple levies.
