I went through 2xK95s and in around 2 years or so there was 24+ dead LEDs between the two of them.
Okay then... so if Corsair KBs are off the list I guess I'm back down to just Razer stuff? At very least wirh the Blackwidow V4 I can replace any defective switches since it's made to be swappable. Going to start reading/watching reviews for the rest, but hopefully someone here has tried some of the options and will share their opinions

Don't take the Corsairs out of the basket. I had one of the original K90's that had the white led burnout problem. I replaced the LED's and my oldest still has it in use around 8 years later. I have a K65 Rapidfire RGB TKL with Speed Silvers that was my primary for a couple years and was used daily by my daughter for another 3-4 years. No issues with either board, other than the bad batch of white LED's way back in the day. The K65 sits in my closet as a backup in case my Glorious dies. And I'd bet that Corsair's reliability is way higher than Razer's.

They were RBG lights not white, but was not brining it up to tell you not to buy corsair more so brining it up for exposure. If I was to buy another I'd get it with IPR or something. CS was absolute garbage to deal with.

Also had 3 razer mamba elite mice over 5 year all crap out, but never messed with their keyboards. Razer CS was a lot better to deal with for the mice. Dead battery in the first one worn out switches in the next two. Only other mouse I ever had fail was from EVGA.

So I ended up going with the Razer Huntsman v2, and wow am I glad I did. It's quiet, fast, feels good, etc. It's way better than my old keyboard in every way really, and I Think I can even add O-rings to it as well (but I'm not sure). Cheers to all for your info and opinions 👍

I'm assuming you meant hate? They're not clicking at all. They're Razer linear opticals and the KB is built with sound dampening

Yeah, hate.

The link I found was for clicky switches. I wasn't sure if they had different switch options. :)

Sounds like you're happy with it?

Other than being slightly wider because my old KB had things like the arrow keys squashed into the area around the enter button, it's fantastic. Better than my old KB in every way, quieter, faster, hurts less, etc.

Happy with my purchase for sure! Now I just gotta try the O-rings on as well (although I'm not sure they'll fit because some say the Razer switches aren't the right type for O rings), and will see how/if they improve things more.
