So, there is a very high chance/likelihood of work sending me to a country in Europe later this month for a work business development/proposal thing and well I need a new laptop that I'd like to be able to do some light to mild gaming (at least run BG3 at some degree of playable for example).

The only real 'needs' or 'wants' I have is that it has 16GB of memory and ideally an RTX 4k series graphics card though certain RTX 3k series may be 'considered'.

I was originally looking at
or perhaps

But I'm not sure if that potentially is overkill for a laptop I won't really playing much on when I return home after the business trip.

The Legion lineup is really good, and the 16" screen is an absolute banger of a size between too big (17s) and too small (imo, 15s). I would upgrade the screen to the better model (400 nits, 240hz), but the base model now is quite good (300 nits 165hz) and basically the same as my upgraded screen (400 nits, 165hz).

Legion 5 Pro or 5 slim is where I would focus my efforts. I absolutely love my Pro 5 Gen 6 AMD model for road trips.

Lenovo currently has 12% Rakuten cash back. This usually only lasts for a day or two.

The problem with the Legion laptops they do have on sale is the estimated delivery date, it would not get to me in time. That's why I had also linked he LOQ version as that one is at least in stock, but it's also running a 4050 comparted to the 4060 on the MSI laptop
