I can’t stop trying to think of a use case to justify grabbing one of these for! 😂 GLWS of the rest!

Out of curiosity, what’s your plan with the machines you are keeping (p320)?

The first one went out into the garage. I had a T5600 (not a 5600T) mac mini out there. I was using it to bring up digital copies of service manuals or other reference material. Combined with the cheapest of keybaord and mice that I don't care if they get covered in oil, then I don't need to worry about smearing oil all over the screen of my phone etc. One of the M900's would have been more than enough for that purpose but I'd rather all of them match.

The other 3 i plan to set up all very similarly. I have a soon to be E5-2640 V4 server (CPUs just showed up last week only has E5-2609 V3 currently installed) makes for 40 threads with ~400GB ram that is going to become a pretty effective ripping & transcoding machine. Going to back up the physical library of media we have bought over the years and use 2 of them as streaming clients (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs), the 3rd I plan to install a larger drive and actually keep it sync'ed for offline use in the travel trailer when we get rained out. Then i'm not packing a PS3 slim and a giant box of DVDs for that purpose.

I'm also going to mess around with installing steam and see what kind of games they can comfortably play on the TV. There are some couch games I think I'd enjoy playing that way with the kids.

Trying to get my hands on a SFP+ aggregration switch at this point so i can get away with just 2 drives installed into the server and have the network copy everything else to a NAS without any hickups.
