I think I finally sorted out the instabillity in my i7 rig! Had to bump up the volts a few notches compared to my initial testing. Guess a GTX285 puts a lot more stress on the PSU than a "lowly" 8800GTS 512! Been crunching all night without a hiccup. finally broke 500K as well!!

Its nice to see we are steadily gaining Ranks. I wonder, will we be having a Push for 75? or a Push for 50? lol!!!

Another month or two and hopefully my main will have twin 260's inside.
Mr. LemonLime is going to hear me knocking soon :thumb:

AAAAH CRAP....

Unstable machine errors on the second newly added card....

Any pointers where to start looking? The card is OC'd from factory but that's it. I had the gpu fan on 100%

What second card are you talking about? Is it exactly the same or is it from a different generation? What WU was it? We need a little more info... :)

I have 2 8800GTs in a machine, both BFG cards but different PCBs

One is a GTOC and the other a GTOC2, I believe.

The card in question is the GTOC2 and was working on a 353

I found this to be an interesting read and took LBC001's advice... will see what happens....

Edit: It immediately downloaded another 353 and is now 1% done. GPU fan is at 100% and temp is already 79C

Back up and running on all cylinders now, although my displacement is somewhat reduced. I'd of liked to have gone Nvidia in my main PC, but a couple of hours of the 9800GT in there reminded me why my last 3 cards had been Ati.

I'm surprised that futuremark doesn't put out more PPD considering how large their high(er) GPU userbase is.
