wow... was just looking up some ways of tweaking my system and I saw that changing the affinity for my two VMware instances might change my PPD.... I set VM-1 to core 0/1 and VM-2 to core 2/3 (in task manager).

My PPD on VM-1 went up to 2830 PPD and VM-2 went down to 1508 PPD. Before when both instances were running on all 4 cores it gave me 4086 PPD. That's 250 PPD more right there... Let's see how the rig behaves overnight... :)

Grats Zlo!!! Good to see you chugging away like that!!!

3.0, get that puppy up and running asap. Hopefully just the PSU Cooked, have you had a chance to test your Hardware?
Even just disconnection one of the VC's and using your Corsair PSU to try and power up the rig.

Regards,
ST

My rig just went haywire.

It's sending the main monitor signal to the dummy plugs instead of the monitor, so I get no image on my screen. Not enough time to fix it now, so PPD will dive today.

Man, a lot of problems with these GTX 295 for folding

In the future, I'd stick with single-GPU cards in tri-SLI
