190 and up can fold without disabling SLI.

Brain had the BIOS of one of his cards nuked by 19x drivers. I'm using 191.07 without any problems so far, so YMMV.
Wha wha what?!? I am pretty sure my 9800GX2 cannot do this. BRB. Will report on this :haha:

Well given my own experience over the past few weeks, I think I'll live with a dummy plug for now.
I haven been (excluding my pc's holiday) folding SLI enabled on my 2 GTX 260s since i got the 2nd one back in the early part of november and have had no issues (beyond something i suspect is windows 7 and nvidia drivers but lowering the cpu usage of the 2nd card to 95% fixed it)

They work for me on all the 19x.xxxs however i tend to typically use the latest CUDA driver

I fold with SLI enabled, no desktop extension, but I had to add the -forcegpu nvidia_g80 flag to my second card to get it to run.
