Yeah, things are cooling off. Time to start up more boxes :thumb:

DT, They pull about 200W while folding (With BSEL mod) so for ppd/W it's 75-150 :biggrin: (depending on WU)

Not bad. Looks similar to GPU efficiency, although the high end of your range is quite a bit better. By way of comparison, my GPU rig does about 85-115 PPD/W, but that also includes an SMP client running on the i7 860. If I idle the CPU, the PPD/W would be in the 70-100 range.

I am pretty much done folding until the new year. Then I will see what I can do about putting together a 2P or 4P folding box.

For the people running VirtualBox, just found this today. Topten Software

It allows you to run your VM in the system tray. It also automatically saves and resumes your VM on shut down and startup.

Quick question lowfat, since it's been a while since I did much folding in VM's... how is the smp performance of vbox? Last I tried vbox, the smp implementation was new and clunky.
