The Lian Li Lancool II Mesh case is the airflow focused follow up to the original Lancool 2. After benchmarking to testing temperatures with air cooling, this might be one of the best gaming cases of 2020 since it has a good price and plenty of water cooling options too. The only thing that's questionable is availability.

I'm not a fan of blocking off the backside of the motherboard. For one, some motherboards have an Nvme back there. But at very least, trapping all the heat behind the board just Has to be hotter than letting it escape somehow. The back of the board near the vrms, cpu and Northbridge could all be a bit cooler if there was somewhere for the heat coming off that area to go. A grille, low profile 120mm fan spot or even just a really big gap between the back of the board and the side panel would help, imo.

Also, specific to this review:
Why weren't temperatures tested with two fans installed on the top of the PSU shroud aimed at the GPU? If I had two such spots I'd 100% use both, with matched fans. Worth checking?

Seems like a nice case. Another review of the case mentioned that there is a big hole at the bottom of the front panel without any of the “mesh”...seems like a big oversight, since dust/fur etc would easily get sucked up from there.
