windowskey -> type "paint" hit enter
ctrl-v, hit esc to clear selection
click and drag to select area desired, click "crop" in ribbon
ctrl-s, select .png or .jpeg or something as filetype. save somewhere.

Prepare your post on HWC. (if using quick reply, hit "go advanced)
Scroll down to "Attach Files" -> "Manage attachments"
"Upload File from your Computer" -> "Browse" (observe max filesize listed below in window, but forum software will resize as needed)
Once file is selected click Upload, then close the window.
Finish up post, proofreading, etc.
Hit "Preview Post" and proofread again.

"Submit Reply" and make sure everything is there.
