I was looking at the Visiontek HD 650 or Hauppage 1600.I wanted something with a fm reception and the HD for the future. If I have 1 or 2 channels that come in HD from my cable provider will I be able to pick them up?Is clear Qam enabled on these cards?,can't tell.

Don't really know what ATSC Digital TV is or Clear Qam is.
I have a leadtek now,but the cable connector snapped off at the solder and the picture short's in and out now.Tried to resolder it,but can never get a strong solder connection,it keeps breaking away.

Any Ideas, suggestions on a good TV Tuner Card would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you find anything that works let me know or post it here. I've been trying to find the same thing without too much luck. At least I haven't been able to find enough information to decide which card to get. I know there are some other card manufacturers besides the usual suspects that are supposed to be great for getting Sat signals but for the life of me I can't remember right now. Unfortunately it seems like cards that do FTA won't do Bell or Direct TV etc. at least from my limited reading. So you would probably need a receiver for those and then connect to the card.

Twinhann dvb cards will recieve both bell and dishnet and all the ati hd2000, 3000, and 4000 will output hd to your tv.

Thanks Madrach! And yes, it was Twinhann that I was thinking of. Do you have any experience with those?
