I was eyeballing the proart 27" at memx. I bought a used true color monitor 10+ years ago, but it's the old DVI connector that video cards don't support anymore. Even with an HDMI to DVI connector it doesn't work properly no matter what I try, frankly it's outdated anyway.

The monitor won't be used for gaming and only used for work flow, photo editing, and video editing, so it doesn't need to be a high frequency response.

Maybe there's a couple creators here that have some recommendations.

Assuming you have a semi-decent IPS monitor already, calibration is probably all that's needed. Looks like x-rite spun off the "consumer" stuff into Calibrite: https://calibrite.com/us/ as another option to Spyder.

ProArt is already at the cheaper end of the "factory calibrated" monitors anyhow. I suppose the only other option would be waiting for Dell to have a sale on UltraSharps.

If you're considering a spyder colourmeter there's a sale on the full photo package at Vistek for $200. It's only on for another day so don't wait. :)

I've had a couple of versions of the Spyder (currently have a SpyderX) and swear by them. I haven't had a monitor in years that wasn't crazy heavily skewed towards the blue spectrum.

Ordered. That's a crazy good deal.
